Seeking help can feel overwhelming because our identities and relationships are complex. How we experience the world as an individual may not always align with how the world perceives us. Finding mental health support can be a challenge especially when we struggle to make ourselves legible to others.

My Approach

I offer a holistic approach informed by elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to strengthen your capacity to cope and grow. Our work together will be client-centred, this means that you determine your needs and we work together to reach your goals.

I approach my work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, strengths-based framework. I aim to cultivate a working relationship where we can build trust and you can feel safer, and in control of your mental health journey.

I work primarily with racialized and/or LGBTQ+ communities. However, I have worked with a diverse range of youth, adults and seniors to navigate various challenges such as interpersonal relationships, family conflict, stress, life transitions and the development of coping skills.

Counselling Services

  • Consultation

    Complementary (15min)

A consultation is not a therapeutic session. The consult is a 15 minute meeting where we can go over what your expectations are and you can ask any questions you may have. After the consult you can decide if you would like to work together.

  • Individual Counselling

    $150

Having a non-judgemental space to talk to someone can be a helpful step toward further understanding the cause of your stress. Together we will collaborate on ways to navigate various tensions and heavy feelings such as those that arise in your relationships with people and in everyday life.

  • Sliding Scale Individual Counselling

If finances are a barrier to you accessing support please don’t hesitate to reach out, sliding scale options may be available.
